Classification of Students Ð Student classification at Arkansas City High School will be based on credits earned.

á           A student with fewer than 6 credits will be classified as a Freshman.

á           A student with at least 6 credits will be classified as a Sophomore.

á           A student with at least 12 credits will be classified as a Junior.

á           A student with at least 18 credits will be classified as a Senior.

       If there is a question regarding a studentÕs classification because of transfer, drop in, dropout, etc., the studentÕs permanent file will be reviewed by the administrator and counseling department and a classification will be determined by the administration based on the result of that review.
