OFFENSE: Harassment - bullying
SPECIFICATION: Activities that involve students bullying other students are
abusive behaviors that harm victims and negatively impact the school environment
by creating an atmosphere of fear, distrust and mean-spiritedness. USD 470
strictly prohibits students from engaging in any form of bullying on school
property, in conjunction with any school activity or involving any person associated
with the school. Any student who participates in bullying or conspires to engage
in bullying will
face immediate and appropriate disciplinary action and must meet with the counselor.
A mandate of “no interaction” will
be issued.
