Arkansas City High School FFA presented a plaque to the USD 470 Arkansas City Public Schools board of education last night, selecting the district as the FFA Supporter of the Month for September/October.

Students told the board they select an individual or business in the community that helps FFA members “keep motivated to do better.”

They presented board President Joelyn Squires a plaque last night at the BOE meeting. FFA members said they appreciate the high school administration and board of education’s support throughout the year.

Board Vice President Daren Reese thanked the group for representing the school district in a positive way.

FFA advisers are ACHS ag-ed teachers Cory Epler, Adam Foster and Denise George.
